Coming soon: Air train to run under planes on India’s only elevated taxiway at Delhi airport

By 2028, Delhi's airport will feature a 7.7km automated people mover linking Terminal 1 and Terminal 2/3 via Aerocity and Cargo City, mostly on elevated tracks. Avoiding underground sections to cut costs, the air train aims to improve passenger convenience and connectivity without additional passenger charges, funded through bids and possibly advertising revenue.
