Math teacher errs in counting, student flunks

A mathematics teacher in Gujarat made a totalling error of 30 marks in Class X boards, causing a student to fail. The Gujarat State Education Board fined 4,488 teachers for such errors in Class 10 and 12 exams, collectively costing Rs 64 lakh.
