CJI Chandrachud proposes Justice Khanna's name as his successor

Chief Justice of India, D.Y. Chandrachud, has proposed Justice Sanjiv Khanna as his successor. Justice Khanna, appointed to the Supreme Court in 2019, is set to become the 51st CJI upon government approval, serving a tenure until May 2025.
