Air pollution: Wind slows, Delhi’s relief quickly vanishes

Delhi's air quality deteriorated from 'poor' to 'very poor' on Monday, with some areas even reaching 'severe' levels by evening. Slowing winds trapped pollutants, pushing the AQI to 369 by 6 pm. Bawana, Vivek Vihar, Wazirpur, and Rohini recorded 'severe' AQI readings exceeding 420. Despite GRAP-IV restrictions, PM2.5 levels spiked to nearly five times the safe limit.
