‘Fan’ attempts suicide outside HD Kumaraswamy's Bengaluru residence after denied entry

A 46-year-old man, Mahadeva, attempted suicide by slitting his wrist in front of union minister HD Kumaraswamy's residence after being denied a meeting with him. Arriving at the house under the influence of alcohol, he returned later and caused a scene before harming himself. Police intervened and took him to the hospital.
