India, France to jointly track Indian Ocean Region threats

India and France reaffirmed their commitment to upholding international law and safeguarding freedom of navigation in the Indian Ocean Region. They plan to collaborate on enhancing maritime security against threats like piracy, terrorism, and marine pollution. The countries also agreed to joint efforts in conserving biodiversity and marine resources through the United Nations Ocean Conference.
