Delhi election 2025: 'Silence' holds ground for BJP in riot-hit seats

BJP gained support in three of Delhi's five riot-hit constituencies, with Mohan Singh Bisht, Kapil Mishra, and Ajay Mahawar recording wins in Mustafabad, Karawal Nagar, and Ghonda, respectively. AAP maintained control over Seelampur and Gokalpur. Despite BJP largely avoiding discussions on the 2020 riots, their foothold in northeast Delhi has strengthened.
