Pak attempts terror push with ceasefire breach in Poonch
Wednesday, 12 February 2025 Pakistani soldiers violated the ceasefire by firing in J&K's Poonch district, aiming to push terrorists into India. The Indian border guards responded effectively with equal force, and there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the Indian side. Recent incidents indicate increasing infiltration attempts and hostilities along the LoC.
At around 9 AM on May 15, BLF fighters launched a targeted attack on a Pakistani forces convoy in Badrang, Kolwah, using an IED explosion to destroy an armored vehicle. The ambush continued with sustained assaults on the remaining convoy vehicles and foot soldiers. The armored vehicle was completely destroyed with all personnel inside killed. The convoy suffered further casualties and significant material losses as the BLF fighters inflicted heavy damage.
