Private gold mine in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool to start ops after green clearance

The first private gold mining and processing plant in Andhra Pradesh is set to start operations after a public hearing on February 18. Geomysore and Deccan Goldmines Limited, having conducted successful pilot trials, aim to produce 750 kgs of gold annually from the Jonnagiri area. The project anticipates environmental clearance and aims to begin commercial operations within three months.
