An explosion at Japan’s Kadena Air Base in Okinawa injured four Japanese Self-Defense Force (SDF) personnel during WWII ordnance disposal on Monday. The blast occurred inside the U.S.-controlled base, though no American personnel were hurt. The injuries are not life-threatening. Japan’s 15th Brigade was handling unexploded ammunition at the time.
