India’s longest tunnel getting ready on Delhi-Mumbai highway in Mukundra reserve

The construction of India's longest tunnel on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, passing through Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve, is nearing completion. Engineers celebrated the breakthrough of Tube-1, with full tunnel excavation expected by June 2024. The tunnel will feature advanced systems and is targeted for completion by December 2025.
