US firm sacks 700 employees, 200 laid off on 'ethical grounds'

Fannie Mae laid off about 700 employees, with 200 of them being Telugus, citing ethical violations related to the misuse of the 'matching grants program'. The layoffs bring Telugu organisations like TANA under scrutiny, and similar allegations had led to Apple sacking over 100 employees earlier this year.
