Marriages stalled in this Uttarakhand village due to unfinished bridge repair work, HC fumes

The Uttarakhand high court has directed the PWD to complete repairs on an 84-metre bridge over the Pindar river by April 20, following delays that disrupted life in Chamoliβs Narayanbagad area. The bridge, shut since December 2024, affected 37 villages, forcing detours and postponement of weddings. The court acted on a petition filed by a local resident.
