Mumbai experienced heavy pre-monsoon showers on Tuesday evening, with Jogeshwari receiving the highest rainfall at 63mm. The IMD forecasts thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 60kmph for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar districts throughout the week. Waterlogging shut down the Andheri subway, causing traffic congestion. Raigad is expected to face very heavy rainfall on Thursday and Friday.
