Karnataka BJP President B Y Vijayendra has demanded an apology from actor Kamal Haasan for his remark that “Tamil gave birth to Kannada.” Vijayendra condemned Haasan's statement as disrespectful to Kannadigas and an insult to the Kannada language, emphasising its rich history and significance.
