Rajeev Krishna to be new DGP of Uttar Pradesh

Senior IPS officer Rajeev Krishna has been appointed as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh, succeeding Prashant Kumar, who is retiring. Krishna, a 1991-batch officer currently serving as DG of Vigilance, will now lead the Uttar Pradesh Police. The appointment was officially announced by a government spokesperson on Saturday.
