Anna University rape case: Chennai court sentences sole accused Gnanasekaran to life, 30-year minimum term

A Gnanasekaran has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Chennai Mahila Court for the Anna University rape case, with a minimum of 30 years in jail. Judge M Rajalakshmi found him guilty on 11 counts under various laws, including rape and IT Act violations. The survivor reported that Gnanasekaran threatened her on campus and recorded the assault.
