In a shocking incident, Shirdi police arrested a 22-year-old and detained six minors for abducting and murdering a farmer to steal his cellphone. The motive was to sell the phone to finance a birthday celebration for one of the minors. The farmer was lured to a cane field, assaulted, and ultimately killed by strangulation and stabbing.
