Saturday, 28 June 2025 () After 23 years on the run, Hanumanth Husenappa, 75, was apprehended in Gangavati town, Koppal district, for the alleged murder of his third wife, Renukamma, in 2002. Husenappa, a former junior assistant at a primary health center, is accused of stabbing Renukamma to death after a domestic dispute. He had been evading authorities since the incident.
