Delhi plans cloud-seeding trial in July, awaiting final clearance from DGCA

Delhi government is set to conduct a cloud seeding pilot project between July 4 and 11, pending DGCA approval, to induce artificial rain. The experiment, costing Rs 3.21 crore, will be executed by IIT Kanpur across areas like Bawana and Rohini. This initiative aims to combat pollution, with post-trial water samples tested for harmful chemicals, anticipating a 60-70% success rate.
