'Came Karnataka for meditation': Russian woman with expired visa found living in Gokarna cave with 2 daughters; says she lived in Goa since 2017
Sunday, 13 July 2025 () In Gokarna, police rescued a Russian woman, Nina Kutina, and her two young daughters from a cave near Ramateertha Falls. Nina's visa expired in 2017, though her children were born in India. Authorities were surprised to find them in such a remote, dangerous area. Nina claimed she came to Karnataka for meditation and worshipped an idol of Lord Rama.
