Probe custodial torture of J&K cop, arrest culprits, SC tells CBI

The Supreme Court, deeply disturbed by the brutal torture of a J&K police constable by his colleagues, has ordered the CBI to take over the investigation and immediately arrest the culprits. The court expressed a lack of confidence in the UT police's impartiality, citing their attempt to shield the perpetrators by falsely accusing the victim.
