Much confusion on who does what, even upkeep of drains: HC to Delhi government

The Delhi High Court has urged the Delhi government to streamline the management of civic services due to significant confusion among agencies, particularly regarding waterlogging issues. The court highlighted the lack of coordination between PWD and MCD in maintaining stormwater drains and sewage lines, leading to excessive flooding. It directed the chief secretary to address the matter and consider centralizing drain administration to resolve the issue of agencies passing responsibility.
