Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan has taken over as the 47th Vice Chief of the Naval Staff. A Gunnery and Missile systems expert, Vatsayan's three-decade career includes diverse command, operational, and staff roles. An alumnus of prestigious military institutions, he was commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1988.
