A 21-year-old BSc student in Haldwani tragically took her own life after reportedly losing approximately Rs 5 lakh in an online ludo game. According to police reports, she left a suicide note explaining that initial wins led her to invest more, eventually borrowing money from her parents and incurring significant losses, causing her deep distress.
