Tribals to be kept out of UCC ambit: Rijiju

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju assured that tribals in the northeast and other regions would be exempt from the proposed Uniform Civil Code, allowing them to maintain their social systems. Speaking at an event, Rijiju highlighted the government's commitment to UCC while respecting tribal autonomy.
