A new study led by researchers at Tulane University suggests that taking at least 50 steps and climbing stairs each day can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease. The study, which analyzed data from 450,000 UK adults, found that climbing more than five flights of stairs daily was associated with over a 20% lower risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
