Lord Shiva is worshipped in many different ways. There is meditation, there is praying to the Shivling, the Rudra abhishek, the Jalabhishek, the chanting, and of course, maintaining a pure heart and mind. And the chantings come in the form of mantras and jaaps. There is the Beej mantra of ‘Om Namah Shivaay’, the ever-powerful mantra.
