Harvard study says Vitamin D may actually slow down aging

A recent study suggests that daily vitamin D supplements may slow down biological aging at the cellular level. Researchers found that vitamin D intake significantly reduced telomere shortening, the protective caps on chromosomes that wear down with age. This effect equated to nearly three years of slower cellular aging compared to a placebo.
