This high-level visit reflects India's united stance against terrorism and its continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Greece.

The visit of Greek Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis to India in 2024 marked a significant step forward, as both nations identified key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, ports, chemicals, shipping, food processing, communications, and defence to enhance trade and strategic cooperation. At that time, bilateral trade stood at USD 1.9 billion for FY 2022-23, and both sides expressed a mutual ambition to significantly scale this figure in the coming years.
