INX case: CBI may charge Chidambarams next week

The CBI is likely to file a chargesheet against P Chidambaram, his son Karti and four bureaucrats in the INX Media case early next week. Chidambaram was arrested by the agency on August 21 and has since been in judicial custody in Tihar Jail.If the chargesheet is not filed within two months of an accused being in judicial custody, he or she becomes eligible for bail.
