Kremlin says coronavirus aid to Italy is not a ploy to get EU sanctions lifted
Monday, 23 March 2020 The Kremlin said on Monday that medical assistance Russia was providing to Italy to help it battle the new coronavirus was not part of an attempt to get Rome help lift EU sanctions on Moscow.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has rejected an offer of coronavirus aid and support from the United States, calling American leaders liars. Iran has been hit hard by the disease, but wants U.S. sanctions lifted as a priority. Adam Reed reports.
