Attorney John Eastman surrenders on charges in Trump's Georgia 2020 election subversion case
Tuesday, 22 August 2023 Conservative attorney John Eastman has turned himself in to authorities in Georgia on charges related to an alleged illegal plot to overturn Donald Trump's 2020 election loss. He was indicted last week alongside Trump and 17 others. Eastman criticized the indictment and said each defendant was entitled to rely on legal advice to challenge the election results.
