UK police arrest escaped terrorism suspect

A former British soldier suspected of terrorism offences, who escaped from prison earlier this week, has been recaptured in London. Daniel Abed Khalife, 21, absconded from Wandsworth prison by strapping himself to the underside of a food delivery truck. He was apprehended in the Chiswick area of west London and is currently in police custody. Khalife, who was discharged from the British army in May, was being held ahead of trial on terrorism-related charges.
