New York judge orders hold on canceling Trump's business licenses
Saturday, 7 October 2023 Former President Donald Trump has been granted a temporary delay in canceling his business licenses in New York, after an appeal was filed to halt the trial. The trial, which began on Monday, follows a ruling last month that there had been repeated fraud by the Trump Organization. While the trial will not be suspended, a stay has been granted on the order to cancel the business certificates. The trial is set to resume on Tuesday, with New York Attorney General Letitia James seeking a $250 million judgment against Trump.
