PM Modi holds bilateral meeting with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan

Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her state visit to India. The two leaders held bilateral talks and exchanged Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) in various areas. President Hassan expressed appreciation for the strong relationship between the two countries and hoped that her visit would lead to further political and economic development. This visit, the first from Tanzania in over eight years, aims to strengthen the historic and friendly relations between India and Tanzania. The two countries also plan to elevate their defense relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
