Missouri Man breaks Guinness World Record for longest pumpkin boat journey
Wednesday, 11 October 2023 A Missouri man named Steve Kueny has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest journey by a pumpkin boat. Kueny navigated the Missouri River for almost 11 hours on his 1,208-pound pumpkin boat called "HuckleBerry." Accompanied by the Paddle KC Paddling Club, Kueny traveled over 39 miles. Safety precautions were taken, and Kueny plans to submit evidence for official verification. This surpasses the previous record set in 2022 by Duane Hansen and in 2021 by Rick Swenson.
