Russian diplomat hopes to meet Hamas for talks to free hostages: agencies
Saturday, 14 October 2023 Moscow's Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, is aiming to meet with representatives of Hamas in Qatar to discuss the release of Israeli hostages. Russia has condemned the violence from both Israel and Hamas and has expressed its willingness to act as a potential mediator. Bogdanov stated that a meeting with Hamas representatives would be useful in solving practical issues, including the freeing of hostages.
