Citing Iran deal, US Republicans criticize Biden's Israel nominee Lew
Wednesday, 18 October 2023 Former Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, President Joe Biden's nominee for ambassador to Israel, is expected to win Senate confirmation despite opposition from Republicans. Democrats are rushing to confirm Lew quickly in order to offer staunch support to Israel after the recent attack by Hamas gunmen.
