Gaza aid convoy 'must not be the last': UN humanitarian chief
Saturday, 21 October 2023 The UN humanitarian chief expressed hope that the initial aid convoy entering Gaza from Egypt "must not be the last"as trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered the war-torn and besieged Gaza Strip on Saturday through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt supplies entered the war-torn enclave. "I am confident that this delivery will be the start of a sustainable effort to provide essential supplies... to the people of Gaza," said Martin Griffiths. "This first convoy must not be the last," he warned.
