Saturday, 21 October 2023 The UN humanitarian chief expressed hope that the initial aid convoy entering Gaza from Egypt "must not be the last"as trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered the war-torn and besieged Gaza Strip on Saturday through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt supplies entered the war-torn enclave. "I am confident that this delivery will be the start of a sustainable effort to provide essential supplies... to the people of Gaza," said Martin Griffiths.
