A car bomb exploded at a military facility in the outskirts of Mogadishu, Somalia, killing at least six people, including four soldiers. Nine others were injured in the suicide bombing claimed by the extremist group al-Shabab. The explosion caused significant damage to the security base and nearby civilian houses. Somalia's government has been fighting against al-Shabab for years, and recently stepped up efforts to dismantle the group's propaganda network.
