Sri Lanka announces free visa scheme for India, China, Russia

The Sri Lankan government announced a free visa scheme for seven countries including, India, China, Thailand, and Russia. On the social media platform, X, Foreign Minister Ali Sabry said that the government had approved issuing of free visas for seven countries. According to Sabry, the free visa travel has begun with immediate effect as a pilot project and will continue till March 31.
