Poland must do all it takes to unblock EU funds, says Tusk

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 25 October 2023
Poland's opposition leader, Donald Tusk, has called on the country to use all available methods to access frozen European Union funds. Tusk, who is expected to become the next prime minister, wants to resolve disputes between Warsaw and the EU that have resulted in funds being withheld. The EU has concerns over Poland's judicial reforms and is blocking access to grants and loans from the recovery fund, as well as cohesion funds. Tusk aims to save the money that Poland deserves and gain access to billions of euros.
