Italy PM Giorgia Meloni talks of Ukraine fatigue, migration in prank call
Wednesday, 1 November 2023 Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed international fatigue with the conflict in Ukraine and a lack of support for Italy in dealing with migration in a phone call with Russian pranksters. The 13-minute audio of the call, released by the pranksters, revealed Meloni's frustration with the situation. She also criticized the belief that Italy should solve the migration problem alone. The pranksters praised Meloni for sharing her genuine opinions, unlike other European politicians who act like programmed robots.
