Sunday, 5 November 2023 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on the US to provide more funding to counter Russia and has invited former President Donald Trump to witness the conflict's scale. Zelenskyy warned that if Russia continues to escalate, American soldiers may be drawn into a larger European conflict. President Joe Biden has requested Congress to pass a $106 billion spending bill, predominantly for Ukraine's defense. However, the Republican-led House has proposed its own plan, excluding additional aid for Ukraine.
