EU has 'Plan B' if Hungary vetoes 50 billion euro aid for Ukraine

IndiaTimes Friday, 10 November 2023
The European Union is confident that it can bypass any potential Hungarian veto and provide Ukraine with 50 billion euros in aid. The aid package aims to support Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia. If Hungary were to veto the proposal, the EU could ask other member states to establish their own aid packages for Ukraine, totaling the same amount. Despite concerns about Hungary's obstruction, EU officials are determined to find a solution to provide support to Ukraine.
