The top health official in Ottawa County, Michigan, is seeking to uphold a $4 million settlement in exchange for her resignation. Adeline Hambley's resignation comes after months of conflict with local conservative leaders who were elected in response to COVID-19 restrictions. The county's board of commissioners initially offered the settlement but later backed off, claiming it was only a "tentative settlement agreement."
