53 journalists, media workers killed in Israel-Hamas war: CPJ

The latest war between Israel and Hamas has resulted in the deaths of 53 journalists and media workers, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). The toll includes 46 Palestinians, four Israelis, and three Lebanese. In addition to the fatalities, 11 journalists have been injured and three are missing. Journalists in Gaza face high risks due to Israeli airstrikes, disrupted communications, supply shortages, and power outages. The conflict began on October 7.
