Bangladesh foreign secretary reaches out to around 90 mission heads, briefs on general elections, government priorities

Bangladesh foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen reaches out to heads of mission in Delhi to discuss foreign policy priorities and preparedness for the general elections. He briefs envoys about Bangladesh's position on geopolitical and contemporary issues. Momen urges envoys to consider opening diplomatic missions in Dhaka. India and Bangladesh hold Foreign Office Consultations covering various issues including border security, trade, people-to-people ties, and development cooperation. Bangladesh will have general elections in January.
