The United States comes to Cop28 with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), a subsidy package for green products that aims to triple the country's clean energy capacity by 2030. The US and European Union are urging other countries to join a pledge to triple renewable capacity. The conference will address various blocs and alliances, including the Basic countries.
